An educational short video showing the long process with which a Medieval town used to open its gates every day at dawn.
For this work I designed the storyboard, based on a short script, defined a color palette and designed all the requested assets (backgrounds, characters, props, layouts). Every illustration is created with Adobe Animate and then saved in Illustrator to be beautifully animated with After Effects.
The video is part of an exhibition about the historical town of Lucca.
